Former District Attorney of DeKalb County GA, Robert James, discussed the killing of Ahmaud Arbery on RADIO.COM's The Rashad Richey Morning Show.

Mr. James, who supervised over 8,000 felony cases and successfully prosecuted rogue cops while District Attorney, said point blank, “It’s a murder. In my mind it’s a felony murder," referring to the brutal killing of Mr. Arbery at the hands of Gregory McMichael and his son Travis McMichael.

Robert James, a veteran prosecutor who now has a successful civil and criminal law practice, stated that neither of the McMichael's were complying with the Georgia citizen’s arrest statute and does not understand why there was no arrest made at the scene of the crime.

The third prosecutor in the case has vowed to seek a grand jury indictment, but only after disturbing video of the shooting surfaced.

"I am of the opinion that the case should be presented to the grand jury of Glynn County for consideration of criminal charges against those involved in the death of Mr. Arbery," according to a statement by District Attorney Thomas Durden, who will now oversee the investigation.

Attorney Robert James provided a thorough analysis of why this should be treated as a felony murder case.
