The driver involved in a hit and run collision with moped just before midnight last Wednesday in Greenville County has now been identified and charged.
The collision occurred on South Batesville Road near Devenger Road.
The moped rider was injured and taken to Greenville Memorial for treatment of their injuries.
The Highway Patrol has charged Christopher William Toats with felony leaving the scene involving great bodily injury and failure to yield right of way.
Toats was arrested and is being held in the Greenville County Detention Center.
That collision is under investigation by the Highway Patrol and troopers are still asking anyone who more information about this collision to contact the Highway Patrol.
