A Midlands woman is dead after a shooting at an Upstate apartment complex. The Greenwood Police Department responded to a reported shooting around 1 AM Thursday morning, at an apartment building on Cambridge Avenue East.
Upon arrival, Officers found a woman in the bedroom that had been shot. She was pronounced dead at the scene. The Greenwood County Coroner's Office has identified the victim as, 22 year old Ahkeyra Phylan Raysor of Columbia.
No arrests have been announced yet in the case. It's the 2nd shooting at an apartment complex in Greenwood, in as many days. Investigators do not believe the two shootings are connected.
