The 2nd suspect in a shooting at an Upstate motel earlier this year, is now in custody. As we previously reported, the Greenville County Sheriff's Office responded to the Budget Inn on Bruce Road in Greenville on March 20th.
Upon arrival, deputies found a man suffering from a gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead at the scene and has been identified as 49 year old, Sulayman Blue.
One suspect in the shooting 20 year old Christian Kaleel Jamison was arrested the day after the shooting. The other suspect 19 year old, Cantavius Keontay Earley was arrested on Friday. They are both charged with murder, conspiracy and a weapons violation. Investigators say the shooting happened after a drug deal that went wrong.
