A Western North Carolina man will spend at least six years in prison after pleading guilty to running a drug trafficking operation. 42 year old, Dax Edward Suarez entered a guilty plea to a charge of operating a continuing criminal enterprise.
The Henderson County Drug Task Force investigated Suarez and established that he & others distributed large amounts of meth, throughout the area. In late 2019, a traffic stop and subsequent search of a vehicle that Suarez was driving turned up several ounces of meth.
Suarez faces a minimum of nearly 7 years in prison and a max sentence of 9 and a half years.
