Media release provided by the Anderson County Sheriff's Office Monday.
Anderson, SC (22 November 2021, 10:50 a.m. EDT) – On November 19, 2021 the Anderson County Sheriff’s Office responded to a stabbing incident on Jones Street in Anderson.
Upon arrival, deputies secured the scene and located the victim, Carlton Sherman, in yard of the residence. He was transported to the hospital where he succumbed to his injures.
Detectives responded and learned that the original incident stemmed from a property line dispute between Sherman and the suspect, Joseph S Wilson.
Wilson has been arrested and charged with Murder. Wilson is currently being held at the ACDC and his bond has been denied.
