Police say, residents who live around Spartanburg Community College should not be alarmed if they hear and see certain sights and sounds, this week.
The Spartanburg Police Department is holding active shooter training at the college today through Thursday. The training will focus on coordinated responses to active shooters and various other facets of those type of situations.
Police say, area residents may hear sirens or simulated gunshots, but those are part of the training exercises. The training is set to end at 5PM, Thursday evening.
