This is a follow up to the story I broke Sunday night, regarding Greenville County Councilman Lynn Ballard. He has come under fire since pictures of him wearing a t-shirt containing an image of the confederate flag at a community event, surfaced over the weekend. On Monday, Bruce Wilson the leader of the Upstate based activism group "Fighting Injustice Together" held a press conference at the Greenville County Council office. Wilson made his outcry official, he's calling for a public apology from Ballard or for Ballard to resign.

Ballard spoke with me Monday morning, he stated that he will address this issue at either a committee meeting tomorrow night (Tuesday) or at the Council's full meeting next week. I relayed that information to Wilson at the press conference. Wilson says he has not spoken to Ballard about this issue. Below are comments from Wilson's press conference. (Below That is the original picture of Ballard that is at the center of the controversy)
