Additional arrests announced in connection to the death of an Upstate teenager.
As we previously reported, 16-year-old Alejandro Ricardo Cerecedo died after a weekend shooting in Greenville.
Authorities responded and later arrested 17-year-old Jitearous Emija Paden in connection to that fatal shooting.
Now, the Greenville County Sheriff’s Office has announced two additional arrests in connection to the shooting.
17-year-old Ardreis Holbrook was arrested on Sunday on a list of charges including Murder, Armed Robbery and several weapons charges.
26-year-old Sarah A. Smith was also arrested on Tuesday on obstructing justice charges.
Holbrook is being held on no bond at the Greenville County Detention Center while Smith was released on bond earlier this week. The shooting, including the relationship between the suspects and victim, is still under investigation.
