Earlier this week, the South Carolina statehouse passed a bill that would increase the prison sentences for those convicted of trafficking fentanyl. The bill now goes to Governor McMaster, who's expected to sign it. The new legislation would impose a max sentence of 25 years for 1st conviction of trafficking half an ounce or less.
