Anderson County Emergency Management and Anderson Regional Airport in collaboration with public safety agencies from across the county on Monday evening will conduct an emergency response exercise at the Anderson Airport. Participants will simulate a fixed-wing aircraft emergency with passenger injuries and a hazardous materials leak. The goal of this exercise is to ensure that the county’s emergency responders can effectively coordinate the response and management of a no-notice emergency at the airport.
