An armed felon is in custody after a traffic stop in the Upstate. The Anderson County Sheriff's Office says a driver ran a stop sign and a traffic stop was initiated.
The suspect driver, Randall Luker stopped and exited the vehicle. Deputies say he was armed and was taken into custody. Luker was prohibited from carrying a gun to a prior conviction.
He was found with a gun that had been reported stolen in North Georgia. Meth was also found in the vehicle. Luker is charged with distribution of meth and a weapons violation.
