Investigators with the Greenville County Sheriff's Office have arrested 43 year-old, Corey Jerome Daniel in connection with the shooting death of Dallas Rosemond that occurred last night in the parking lot of the Dollar General on Augusta Road in Ware Place.

Investigators said Daniel and the Rosemond were familiar with each other and had an ongoing issue prior to the shooting.
Investigators said Daniel was sitting in a vehicle parked at the Dollar General Parking lot around 8:30 last evening when Rosemond pulled up and got out of his car.
Daniel and Rosemond began arguing and when Rosemond walked towards Daniel's car and Daniel pulled out a gun and fired at Rosemond. Daniel then fled the scene.
Rosemond was taken to a hospital where he later died. Daniel turned himself into the Williamston Police Department.
Greenville County investigators have since taken custody of Daniel and charged him with Murder and Possession of a Weapon during a Violent Crime. He is currently in the Greenville County Detention Center awaiting a bond hearing.
