An arrest has been made after a fatal North shooting in North Georgia. As we previously reported, authorities responded to the Clear Creek Apartments just before 9AM Monday in Lavonia.
Upon arrival, 31-year-old Eric Thompson was found inside an apartment. He was pronounced dead on the scene. Through witness descriptions, a man matching those descriptions was found near a local hotel.
The man, now identified as Christavier Mikequez “Quez” Brown, was taken into custody and is currently being held at the Franklin County Detention Center.
He's charged with Murder, Aggravated Assault, Possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime and tampering with evidence.
