A suspect is in custody after a weekend shooting in Forest City left one person injured. Police say, the suspect Christian Campbell of Gastonia initially fled the scene following the shooting.
His girlfriend Acaia Ingle reportedly drove Campbell away from the scene. Ingle was then arrested and is charged with aiding assault with a deadly weapon.
Campbell was located and was taken into custody after a brief standoff, Saturday afternoon. Campbell is charged with assault with a deadly weapon. He's being held in Rutherford County awaiting bond.
