An arrest has been made after a weekend shooting in Anderson County left one person injured. The Anderson County Sheriff's Office responded to a call on Ballard Road in Pelzer, yesterday afternoon.
Deputies arrived and learned that the shooting happened after an argument. The victim was shot in the leg and the suspect then reportedly fired into a vehicle someone was sitting in.
Investigators then arrested the suspect, Robert Jeffrey Hughes after gathering witness statements and recovering evidence from the scene. The shooting remains under investigation by the Anderson County Sheriff's Office.
