The South Carolina Highway Patrol says a man is in custody, following a fatal crash Thursday. The crash happened around 6:45 PM on Hwy 123 near 178. Jose Guzman-Pliego has been arrested on two counts of Felony DUI Causing Death and two counts of Felony DUI Causing Great Bodily Harm.
The Highway Patrol says that Guzman-Pliego hit a Ford Fiesta and caused them to go off the road and turn over multiple times. The driver and passenger in the Ford were both killed, other passengers were seriously injured and taken to the hospital. Guzman-Pliego was also transported to the hospital.
