A suspect has been charged in a shooting in the Upstate last week. The Belton Police Department responded December 29th to a reported shooting at a business there.
SLED was called in to investigate the shooting and has charged 59 year old, Charles Bernard Norris with aggravated assault and weapons violations. SLED investigators say Norris shot the victim multiple times.
Norris is currently being held at the Anderson County Detention Center
