Arrests have been made in an Upstate murder case that had on cold. In 2013, Edward Henry Goldsmith was shot and killed outside an apartment on White Horse Road. On Thursday, Greenville County Sheriff Hobart Lewis held a press conference to announce the arrest of 32 year old Bleshus Dravis Mckinney on charges of murder, possession a weapon during a violent crime and criminal conspiracy.
Warrants have also been obtained for his brother 29 year old Deunte Jonmel Mckinney, but his formal charges are pending due to him currently being locked up in Kershaw Prison on unrelated charges.

Lewis said the Cold Case Unit was able to use technological advancements to identify the suspects. Lewis said the fatal shooting followed a drug deal that went wrong. This marks the 6th cold case the unit has cleared since its formation less than two years ago
