Georgia Investigators say DNA evidence confirms the identity of a five-year-old girl whose body was found encased in concrete and dumped in the woods nearly 35 years ago.
The authorities told reporters at Monday's media event the murdered girl's mother and her boyfriend at the time have both been indicted.
They both face trial for the murder of the little girl known for decades only as Baby Jane Doe.
She was found was found in December 1988 in Ware County in southeast Georgia. Her remains were hidden in concrete poured inside a TV cabinet.
She's now identified as Kenyatta Odom based on DNA evidence and what investigators call "a critical tip".
Their report says she was killed in Albany, Georgia, more than 100 miles from where she was found.
