An Anderson County man faces arson charges in one of seven house fires under investigation in the West Pelzer area over the last three months.
West Pelzer, Williamston and Wren firefighters battled the latest fires Thursday morning, the first just before 6:00 a.m. on Square Street. While they were putting it out, word came of a second fire on Brock Street less than a mile away.
A man identified as Logan Driver was arrested Thursday afternoon. He's being held at the Anderson County Detention Center, charged for now with second degree arson in connection with the blaze that damaged a house on Goodrich Street in March. No details yet on what led to his arrest.
