An attempted kidnapping in Richland County has the Sheriff's Office reaching out to the public to help identify a vehicle of interest.

Deputies say the kidnapping attempt happened on March 8th, in a residential area on Baysdale Drive. The suspect tried to grab the victim, a minor, thankfully the child was able to get away.
The vehicle in question is described as a black SUV with a sticker on the front driver and front passenger doors. Minimal detail describes the suspect, a man with facial hair wearing all black.
