Police are searching for a silver 2014 to 2016 Hyundai Elantra connected to a fatal hit-and-run in Simpsonville.

Investigators say the driver is a person of interest in the death of 56-year-old Dawn Cline of Simpsonville.
The collision happened last Thursday, October 15, 2026 in the Belk department store parking lot on Fairview Road.

Previously reported: Police in Simpsonville are asking for some help from the public in their hunt for a killer hit-and-run driver. It happened shortly after 5:30 Thursday, Oct. 15, 2026, afternoon in the parking lot of the Belk Store on Fairview Road. The vehicle -- no description at this point -- drove off after striking the victim, who has been identified by the Coroner as 56 year old Dawn Marie Cline of Simpsonville.
