It's a wide range of back to school dates for students around the Upstate, Western North Carolina and North Georgia. Some Upstate districts will start back as soon as this Thursday, those include Greenwood County District 50 and 52 and Ware Shoals District 51.
Abbeville County Schools are set to start back next week on June 30th. August 1st marks the start of classes for Oconee, Pickens and all Anderson County Districts. Laurens County District 55 and 56, along with Hart County Georgia also start August 1st.
The following day August 2nd marks the start of classes in Stephens, Franklin and Elbert Counties in Georgia. August 8th is the 1st day for Greenville and Cherokee County Schools.
All Spartanburg County School Districts plus Rutherford, Polk and Henderson Counties in NC start on August 12th. Jackson County, NC will have their 1st day August 14th.
August 19th is the 1st day in the following WNC Counties- Graham, Swain, Haywood, Madison, Mitchell and Yancey Counties.
