A woman who become known as the "Boutique Bandit" is now behind bars in Oconee County. A new mugshot of Pamela Schronce has been released after her arrest Monday. This marks 16th arrest for Schronce since January 1st.
This time she was arrested by the Oconee County Sheriff’s Office. The Schronce case dates back to January, when customers of Thomas and Turner Boutique said they paid for items they never received or never got refund for. Some complaints go back to December of 2024.
Schronce was booked just before 11:30 AM, Monday and is awaiting a bond hearing. She’s charged with two counts of breach of trust with fraudulent intent.
The boutique is now closed, and investigators say Schronce may be tied to more than 50 victims across the Upstate.
