An unsettling incident after an apparent fire bomb attempt at an Upstate church. The Union County Sheriff's Office says, a member of the United Methodist Church in the Buffalo Community reported that a suspect threw a firebomb into the church parking lot.
The Sheriff's Office says surveillance video from the church showed an unidentified suspect filming themselves throwing the firebomb. The church reported that a beer bottle had been used in the incident.
It was cleaned up and left burn marks in the parking lot. The incident remains under investigation by the Union County Sheriff's Office.
