A fatal collision was reported Tuesday afternoon in Greenville County.
Lance corporal Nick Pye with the South Carolina Highway Patrol explained that a bicyclist was traveling south on SC 291 near Cypress Street at 8:15pm Tuesday, when they were struck by a 2021 dodge pickup traveling north on the same road.
After the initial hit, another vehicle traveling south on SC 291, a 2018 ford pickup, also struck the bicyclist from behind.
The bicyclist was pronounced dead, though both drivers were uninjured.
