The body found last month in Laurens County has been identified as a man who had been missing for more than five years.
As we previously reported, the Laurens County Sheriff's Office responded to a home on North Ellis Street in Joanna, last month after a property owner located skeletal remains.
The Laurens County Coroner's Office has now identified the deceased as, Gregory McSwain Morgan. He had been reported missing back in August of 2017. The Coroner's Office says that there was evidence of foul play involved in Morgan's death.
