An investigation is ongoing after a dead body was found inside a burning car at an Upstate university, over the weekend.
The Travelers Rest Fire Department responded around 9:30 AM Saturday to a car fire on campus at Furman University. A person was found dead inside the car.
The Greenville County Coroner's Office has not released the identity, of the deceased. SLED is leading the investigation.
