Bomb threats shutdown businesses in Western North Carolina for hours, Thursday evening. The Forest City Police Department and other agencies responded to bomb threats at the Walmart and Lowe's locations in the city.
Other area businesses were evacuated as well, as a precautionary measure. After a few hours after being on the scene, police said no credible threat was found at either location.
There's been no arrests announced, however police say they are following leads in the case.
