A year ago, when the pandemic hit, many businesses learned how to have employees work from home and how to make it work for their firms. Now that workers are comfy with the idea, it's employees who are starting to ask if they can keep working from home once the pandemic fades. Recently one of the nation's biggest companies, Ford, told about 30,000 employees who work from home they can keep doing so indefinitely. The flex hours need to be OK'd by managers. And schedules will be ``hybrid,`` with most work done at home but some requiring staffers come in for meetings and projects that are best-suited to face-to-face interaction.
