A candlelight vigil was held and prayers were said at an event in the Upstate Tuesday night to show support for those impacted by the conflict in Israel. A crowd gathered at the Huse Veterans Center in Greenville for the event.
Nearly everyone in the crowd had a blue ribbon symbolizing unity and solidarity. Jewish Rabbi's and other leaders spoke as the crowd gathered to show strength as a community.
Greenville's Jewish Federation says they plan to hold a Shabbat dinner next month to celebrate Jewish culture and raise money in support of Israel during this time of conflict.
