Cast Members of iconic TV series to visit the Upstate

Two of the stars from an iconic TV series are set to make an appearance in the Upstate this fall. Actors Tom Wopat and Byron Cherry from the Dukes Of Hazzard are set to be in the Pickens County town of Liberty, October 21st.

Town officials have not released further info regarding the event, as of this time. Wopat who played "Luke Duke" does have a musical background, as well.


He recorded more than 10 albums including the Dukes Of Hazzard Soundtrack in 1981 and his self title solo album that was released by Columbia Records in 1983.

Byron Cherry played "Coy Duke" on the show before appearing on the prominent series "In The Heat Of The Night". He also served as a spokesman for the American Cancer Society.
