Charges against a suspect in a road rage shooting in the Upstate have now been upgraded following the victim's death over the weekend.
As we previously reported, the Greenville County Sheriff's Office responded after a man was found suffering from a gunshot wound inside a vehicle along Augusta Road, last week.
The victim identified as 25 year old, Nicholas Daniel Rios died at a local hospital, Sunday. The suspect 34 year old, Steven James Strickland was originally charged with attempted murder and other crimes.
The attempted murder charge against Strickland has now been upgraded to murder following the victim's death.
