A suspect is in custody after police say he set fire to a municipal building in Western North Carolina. The Asheville Fire Department responded after a group of fires were set at a city building, last Thursday.
Police in Asheville were able to use surveillance footage to identify the suspect. 30 year old Noah Talon Erwin of Charlotte was arrested in a different part of the city, later that same day.
Erwin is charged with burning a public building, malicious property damage and trespassing.
