The theft of an unattended car led to what may have been an unintended kidnapping. Greenville County deputies were called to the Augusta Road McDonalds just after 6:30 Monday evening about a car that had been stolen.
The driver had left it running with a child inside. Deputies later received a call from a home on Lakeside Rd in reference to a person finding a child in a child seat on their porch.
When Deputies arrived they found the child that was left in the vehicle. The child is safe and was unharmed. The vehicle has not yet been recovered. No other details have been released.
