A former reality TV star from the Upstate is sounding off on racist remarks he says, were made by Oconee County residents in regard to his grandchild. Todd Chrisley is a Westminster native who starred in the hit reality TV series "Chrisley Knows Best".
Years later Chrisley found himself embroiled in legal issues. He and his wife Julie were sent to prison after being convicted of fraud. They were later pardoned by President Trump and were released from prison last year. R
Recently, Todd did a podcast interview where he talked about racist remarks that were made regarding his black granddaughter. Chrisley referenced the the West Oak High Class of 1986 Reunion and said at least one woman involved used a racial slur in regards to his black grand child.
Chrisley fired back during the interview describing the woman as " Big as a houseboat". He then said that the woman and her friends " We're mean girls then, and are just meaner old broads now".
