A dispute at a fast food drive thru in the Upstate leads to attempted murder charges against a suspect. The Anderson Police Department responded to a shooting in the parking lot of the Wendy's on East Greenville Street, Monday night. Officers arrived and found a shell casing, blood stains on the ground and a cellphone.
Investigators say, video footage showed the suspect firing a single shot. Police were provided receipts from the suspect's order prior to the shooting. The suspect was identified as Lekisher Armelin, she was taken into custody at a home on White Street in Anderson.
Armelin is charged with attempted murder and a weapons violation. Investigators say an argument over a drive-thru order led to the shooting.
