New details have been released following a Christmas night shooting in the Upstate that sent one person to the hospital. As we previously reported, the Greenville Police Department responded to Unity Park just before 9PM, Thursday night.
Police say, a woman who was in the playground area of the park was shot in the incident. Investigators report that the woman was not involved in the incident and was an innocent bystander.
She was injured and taken to a hospital to be treated and has since been released. No arrests have been announced as of the time of this report.
