A former strip club in Greenville that has now been transformed and is set to re-open as a place of worship. The site right off of I385 near Haywood Road once housed Platinum Plus Strip club, it now houses Hope Church.
The renovation project was major undertaking that has been ongoing for the last two years. When the building housed Platinum Plus it was considered by many to be a public nuisance. The Greenville County Sheriff's Office says in that time the site was notorious for various criminal activity.
Hope Church was expected to open the new building this Sunday, however that could change due as winter weather is expected.
