There's an empty chair at the Pickens City Council table.

The post said effective today, (Tuesday) Nealy officially stepped down from his seat.
In a heartfelt letter addressed to Mayor Isaiah Scipio and the City Council, Nealy expressed deep gratitude to the Citizens of Pickens for the opportunity to serve. He also said the city is on a course that he no longer wishes to be part of.
Council will begin the process of filling the vacant seat and will announce further details in the coming weeks.
