All during the month of February, the City of Asheville North Carolina will be hosting events to celebrate Black History and Legacy Month.
Asheville Parks and Recreation Director D. Tyrell McGirt says this years focus is "on the idea of connections – how personal conversations, photographs, food, and personally-created art can shine light on moments..."
From storytelling to soul food suppers, events are scheduled from February 10th through the 22nd. All events are free, but advance registration is recommended as space may be limited.
