Three fraternities at an Upstate university have been out on probation for hazing. Officials at Clemson say the hazing incidents were reported during the Spring semester.
Sigma Nu, Phi Delta Theta, and Kappa Sigma are facing the disciplinary action with the probation lasting at lease two years. The University says, that Phi Delta allegedly blindfolded members took them to unknown locations and making them crawl on the around.
Kappa Sigma reportedly forced to eat certain foods, deprived them of sleep and made them serve new members. Sigma Nu is accused of forcing pledges to lay down on the floor. In the last 12 years, Clemson has reported over 70 cases of misconduct by fraternities and sororities.
