An Upstate man and his co-workers intervened in a heroic way to help victims of a crash, while on an out of state work trip. Tanner Stuetgen of Clemson and four of his colleagues were in the Chicago, earlier this week when the incident happened.
The group was driving to dinner on Route 53 when they came up on a devastating crash. The five men then sprang into action to help the victims in the fiery wreck.
They were able to pull a driver from a burning car as 1st responders were still on the way. No fatalities were reported in the crash and that in large part is thanks to quick and courageous actions of Tanner and his work crew.
