A City of Clinton fire department employee has been arrested and fired.
The City of Clinton issued a statement over the weekend regarding the arrest of Glenn W. Sickles.
He was arrested Friday, September 25, 2026, on a charge of sexual exploitation of a minor. The city says it terminated Sickles after being notified of the arrest.
In a statement released by the Office of the City Manager, the city says it will not comment on the evidence, allegations, or circumstances surrounding the criminal case.
Officials say they are cooperating with the South Carolina Attorney General’s Office, the Laurens County Sheriff’s Office, and all other law enforcement agencies involved in the investigation.
