The co-owner of an Upstate death care business is facing sex crime charges in another state. Officials in Spartanburg County say Robert Ian Nelms was arrested this past Friday on a warrant from Michigan.
Nelms is charged with 1st degree criminal sexual conduct which officials say stemmed from when he lived in Michigan. Nelms is the co-owner of the Cremation Society of South Carolina which has locations in both Greenville and Seneca.
He is set to be extradited back to Michigan. There's been no details released yet on what led to the original charge.
