A previously convicted sex offender is facing charges again after it was discovered he has been volunteering at a church in the Low Country. The Georgetown County Sheriff's Office says 70 year old, Warren Spence Perry was volunteering at Pawleys Island Community Church.
Perry was convicted of sexual exploitation of a minor in 2023 and is on probation. Officials say, because the church operates a nursery, preschool and elementary school Perry was in violation of his probation by volunteering there. He was then arrested by the South Carolina Department Of Probation, Parole and Pardons.
