A Georgia teen who had signed to play college football has died from injuries sustained during a party in Florida, last week. Officials say 18 year old Gavin Yates Lyons died from injuries he suffered after a shooting at a large party in Tallahassee, Florida.
Lyons had recently graduated and was a star football player at Lowndes High School in Valdosta. He had signed to play football at Ball State University in Indiana. Police say two others were hit in the shooting and were treated for non-life threatening injuries.
No arrests have been announced and the shooting remains under investigation.
