A company known for innovation is set to invest in an Upstate expansion effort. Arthrex an orthopedic technology company has announced plans to invest over 100 million dollars to expand operations in Anderson County. The move is expected to create 500 new jobs.
Governor McMaster said of the announcement “I congratulate Arthrex on this more than $100 million investment in our state.
The 500 new jobs this expansion is generating will make a big difference in Anderson County, and we look forward to watching this great company continue to thrive here for years to come.”
“Our partnership with Arthrex is succeeding beyond anyone’s expectations. They showed a lot of faith in our community when they began their journey with us a few short years ago, and today’s announcement indicates the level of confidence they have in our workforce. These jobs will improve the lives of hundreds of Anderson County families, and I am truly thankful", said Anderson County Councilman Brett Sanders.
The company is expanding its Pendelton location and expects to have the project completed in 2023
