Congressman Jeff Duncan responds to leaked Supreme Court document

A U.S. Congressman from the Upstate has issued a statement, after a Supreme Court document has been leaked. A draft decision from the higher court in the case of Dobbs vs Jackson Women's Health has somehow been leaked out. The initial draft pointed toward the Supreme Court overturning the 1973 Roe vs Wade decision.

The Upstate's own Congressman Jeff Duncan issued a statement responding to the leak. Duncan is very concerned by the document being leaked and said " I fear this was done with political motivation to intimidate justices into altering the outcome of the case".

However, Duncan is pleased with the possibility of the original ruling being over turned. He said " The overturning of Roe is lifesaving and would be the most pro-child ruling to ever come from the Court, and most significant civil rights victory in modern history". The statement from Duncan did not point to or speculate on any specific source(s) of the leak.
